This is a test post from , a fancy photo sharing thing.

It has occured that an adventure photo blog without the photos would be somewhat less appealing so I took it upon myself to publish some images from my trip to SE Asia last spring, so, take a minute, have a look, and remember no matter what, I will find a way to update these pages as often as I can. Firstly for your viewing enjoyment, secondly to confirm personal bragging rights and thirdly, (thirdly...is that a real word?) so you all have a rough idea of where the hell I am in the world in the event that I get kidnapped by camel riding rebels, fall into a well or am eaten by a rabid hippopotamus.

(Mom: please disregard that last statement, I'm only joking, I'll see you in the summer, love ya!)

So..are you getting excited or what?

My ticket is dated for March 7th...Seattle to Hong Kong with a 4 day stopover in Tokyo...yeah, so in other words I'm outta here T-minus 17 days and counting and I'm not ready...I mean I've been planning and getting things under control, but if I had to leave tomorrow..well, let's just say I couldn't.

As for being excited...to be perfectly honest I'm not really...of course the idea is tremendous, but I've been talking about this trip for so long that I'm a little tired of telling the story and as a result the initial excitement has somewhat worn off.

However, I have no doubt that between the moment I pack up my bag and the time I arrive at the airport a renewed sense of anticipation and welcome nausea will have washed over me.

Around the World in 80 days! Is that nuts? Ah well, BRING IT!

On The Road Again

Wanderlust has yet to set me free from it's unrelenting clutches so I again find myself with no other choice but to pick up my pack in submission and set fourth on yet another adventure.
